Meat-Free nutrition
Having meat-free days routinely can have several benefits both nutritionally and ethically.
Plant based foods when prepared correctly are nutrient dense. This means that having a variety of plant matter in your daily meals mean you are less likely to be nutrient deficient, which can affect your mood, energy levels and training performances. The variety of foods we consume daily can also have a significant impact on our environment. Meat production is very energy intensive and is a major contributor to greenhouse gas production and pollution.
The foods we prepared and enjoyed on Saturday was outstanding! There was great use herbs, spices and cooking techniques that blended flavours and creativity. We shall be making this a more regular occurrence at Primal.
